When a staff member posts a shift they can't cover, ShiftSwap instantly checks all available workers with the matching role and notifies eligible staff. The first to accept gets the shift — managers receive a confirmation.
Can managers approve or reject swaps?
Yes. Managers can configure the system to require approval before a swap is finalized, or allow staff to self-manage with automatic confirmations. Full audit logs are always available.
Does it work for restaurants with multiple locations?
